Our Mission: The Center for Intercultural Organizing is a diverse, grassroots organization working to build a multi-racial, multicultural movement for immigrant and refugee rights through education, civic engagement and policy advocacy, community organizing and mobilization, and intergenerational leadership development.

US Citizenship and Immigration Services

Immigration Counseling Program - Clerical Support - Assist with clerical duties such as filing, copying, data entry and billing.

The JFCS Community Immigrant Services program helps refugees become reunited with family members and helps transition them into American life. Our agency is the local affiliate of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), which has spearheaded Jewish immigration for more than 100 years. JFCS provides more than just the “bread-and-butter” services that the State Department requires of HIAS. We have partnered with the Oregon State Refugee Case Service Project (RCSP) and other local volunteer agencies because we believe that effective resettlement involves more than just moving from one place to another. It is a transition across culture, language and lifestyle that requires considerable support and assistance throughout the process.

Immigration Legal Services provides professional legal representation, advice and advocacy to low-income immigrants and refugees throughout Oregon and southern Washington. Family reunification cases receive special attention. Services include: family visas, residency, naturalization, political asylum, deportation and removal defense through immigration court and the federal courts.
