Child’s View Montessori School offers an exciting summer program for children age 6 through 10. Each week we have a unique theme to spark your child’s imagination and learning. We include field trips, arts and crafts, music and lots of other activities. You pick from any 3 to 10 weeks during the summer and have your child join the fun.

Teamwork and personal growth skills are emphasized in every camp in a fun and safe environment. Available camps include: Outdoor Adventure, Rock Climbing, Camp Central, Science, Tennis, Broadway Jazz/Hip Hop Dance, and Creative Dance. (ages: 7-16)

Kids spend a week getting their hands dirty learning where their food comes from. They’ll participate in the Kids’ Garden and help our farmer in her fields. They’ll pick snacks straight from heirloom fruit trees, sing songs, harvest vegetables for making their own lunches and spend plenty of time resting in the shade of big trees. Sign up soon as spaces are limited to 15 kids each week.

PEEPs is a summer program that engages youth in environmentally-focused service activities. Sessions of Hunger Exploration, Nature Awareness, and What is Environmentalism allow Portland kids to investigate their community. Participants will gain skills in leadership, civic engagement, and environmental consciousness.

Another wonderful summer of fun activity is fast approaching. Since 1983, our professional camp staff have been leading children in exploring and discovering the wonders of the Zoo through hands-on, interactive, experiential learning.
