Albina Green offers a relatively small number of appetizers and entrees, but the decreased number of dishes has apparently resulted in an increased focus on quality-Albina Green does what it does exceedingly well. All the "green" dishes Albina Green serves up are wonderfully fresh, but what really sets them apart are the exciting and well crafted dressings. The organic greens with apple, roasted pecans, and Danish blue cheese included a zesty vinaigrette that will grab your taste buds by the collar. Those same greens can also come with an equally delicious vegan Caesar dressing. For main entrees pork is the ingredient of choice, appearing in the form of medallions with onion marmalade, barbecued ribs with slaw, and an andouille sausage in pesto-dusted gemelli pasta. Alameda Brewhouse is a brewpub in the heart of the Beaumont Village in Northeast Portland. We have been in business for nine years, offering hand crafted ales and freshly prepared food. All of our beers are produced on location in our 5.5 BBL brewhouse under the watch of head brewer John Eaton. He produces a wide variety of beers, from the light, refreshing Siskiyou Golden Ale to the deep, impenetrable Black Bear Double Stout, which won the Gold Medal at the 2003 GABF in the foreign-style stout category. In addition, there is always at least one seasonal beer on tap to fit the mood of the season. We also offer one selection cask-conditioned and served on a hand pump, and one selection served on nitrogen.
