The kitchen uses fresh, organic and local ingredients for their small yet varied menu. There is a separate, more moderately priced bar menu for the relaxing downstairs lounge if you're not you know, trying to impress your date or something.

Alexis is delicious Greek family cuisine in the heart of downtown. The place is huge, so feel free and welcome to bring the friends, family, party, etc. They also make their killer hummus and Greek dips for sale at local markets, if you don't get your fix at the main location.

In a historic building replete with Middle Eastern decor, the custom continues here at Al-Amir where award-winning and authentic dishes are freshly prepared. Come enjoy the unique dining experience and discover the trememdous ambience, friendly service, great Middle Eastern wines, and moderate prices. Al-Amir's menu is extensive, especially in the meatless area, giving vegetarians their fair share of choices. Avoid a lot of decision-making and order the "mazza," a large sampler plate. With more than enough hummus, baba ghannooj, stuffed grape leaves, tabooli and falafel for two hungry diners, this is a great way to fill up on several of Al-Amir's many flavors.
