When my grandpa opened Bernard's Garage, Inc., in downtown Milwaukie back in June of 1925, he probably could not even imagine what cars would be like today. Back then, Grandpa would go into his small machine shop and make his own parts. That's what it took to meet his customer's needs. The world has changed a lot since Grandpa opened the shop. Milwaukie's dirt roads have been paved, and horses are seldom tied to the hitching rings on Main Street. But what hasn't changed is our dedication to meeting our customer's needs. The Belly 9 Story: We realized that there was a need for a comfy, but still sexy line of Maternity T-shirts that reflected the many moods of pregnancy. So we put our heads together and started designing and producing our own line of Maternity T-shirts. Then the ultimate test arose. We both became pregnant for a second time. Although we didn't have the same overlapping pregnancies, we spent every day of our "second" nine months testing out our own product individually.
